Parts set ALU-Line Heavy Gantry 1510
Due to the large dimensions, profiles and recirculating ball screws with higher cross-sections are installed in the ALU-Line Heavy. Additionally, the Heavy Gantry version comes with two external X-drive spindles for twice the power.
On the X axis, the 90 x 90 profile is replaced by a 180 x 90 profile to reduce deflection to a minimum. Two linear guide rails are mounted on the 180 profile on each side in order to achieve an even higher stability of the portal.
Our machines are equipped with pre-tensioned 20 mm linear guides to reduce any vibrations that may occur.
With this kit you get all the necessary parts for the mechanical construction of the portal milling machine. The drag chains and stepper motors are not included.
Optionally available portal elevationThe illustrations show a machine with a portal heightened to 320 mm passage height and double portal cheeks. An increase to 420 mm passage height with triple portal cheeks is also available.

 The mechanism is delivered in individual parts for self-assembly. The pictures show the fully assembled state.After completion, the parts set presented here represents what is known as an "incomplete machine" in the EC Machinery Directive. This must be supplemented by adding further components to form a finished machine. The housing and the functional safety module (operator protection) offered by Sorotec can be used for this.
