Why are there two versions of this milling cutter at different prices?

It’s true: There is the 2-flute wood cutter and, as an alternative, the 2-flute wood cutter VR. There is no difference between them in terms of quality or application. The cutters come from two different manufacturers—that’s all there is to it. You can simply choose the one you prefer.
Due to the steep spiral of 15°, the tool performs only 8pt tensile forces up to the worpiece and thus prevents fraying of the cut edge.
Unlike straight-fluted tools, the chips are effectively transported out of the milling channel and thus avoids clogging of the tool.
