Side-channel compressors can be used appropriately in every case where large workpieces must be clamped with a lot of leakage air. The method of operation with these devices is with a high delivery volume and low vacuum pressure, which is why the clamping of particularly small workpieces is not to be recommended using this unit. However, whoever is looking for a reliable alternative to the vacuum cleaner is well advised to try a side channel compressor.
