| 8 or 14 mm: Which WLS do I need? |
| With a small machine table, every square inch of clamping surface often counts. In most cases, smaller milling cutters up to max. Ø 6 mm are used here. Then the small tool length sensor is recommended. However, larger milling cutters also require a larger sensor probe. Since the cutting edges to be measured are on the outside of the radius, they would sink past a button that is too small. Here it must be the 14 mm variant. |
