The spring-loaded pressure ball acts as a slip brake: the T-slot nut remains securely in place. Useful especially for angular clampings with vertical grooves.Another special feature: If the grooves are sufficiently wide (for example in aluminum profiles), this T-slot nut can be tossed directly into the T-slot from above.
