Pulse Generator
For Manual Control of Power Stages
It doesn't always have to be a CNC controller when you need to operate a stepper motor. Actuators can also be operated manually, for example, when positioning cross tables, operating a rotary axis, or testing stepper motors for functionality.
The pulse generator is simply connected to the power stage to be controlled using four wires. The toggle switch has the positions Forward - 0 - Reverse. The motor is gently accelerated with a ramp, and the final speed can be adjusted with the potentiometer. Additional inputs for external signals allow for connection between a controller and a power stage.
Ideally, the module is mounted on a DIN rail.
Special Features:
- Supply voltage 5 ... 24 V DC (integrated overvoltage protection)
- Output frequency 0 ... 200 kHz (3 µs pulse width)
- Integrated braking and acceleration ramps for direction reversal or start
- Additional inputs for external start/direction and speed signals (PLC compatible)
- Enables the straightforward implementation of simple path controls using two limit switches and relays
- Includes DIN rail mounting bracket
- Ideally suited for testing CNC stepper motor drivers
- Dimensions: 50 x 60 mm
- Comprehensive documentation with circuit diagram
- 24-hour burn-in test
