After production at Mafell, the SFM 800 is subject to the same strict quality controls as the original. The first-class equipment is no different either.
Infinitely variable, digital speed control with soft start, idle speed reduction, constant speed under load and overload protection. High-precision concentricity of <0.05 mm at a distance of 25 mm (<0.01 mm in the cone) through coordination of all components and manufacture and balancing of armature and spindle in one piece. A closed double ball bearing is used to better absorb axial forces.
Unique feature: overload display by changing the speed setting wheel lighting to red.
The spindle can be locked at the push of a button for easy and convenient tool changing.

With the enclosed union nut you can only use AMB / Kress collets. If you want to use Mafell collets, a Mafell union nut is a must! A mixed use of collets and nuts of both systems must be avoided!
