This precision pull-down vice has jaw adjustment without a spindle.The loose jaw is roughly adjusted to the workpiece using a bolt rod and then simultaneously pulled against the workpiece and downwards using a hexagon socket screw. This creates the pull-down effect and results in a strong clamping force and high precision at the same time.
