Minimum quantity lubrication VELRON MQL-300
The minimum quantity lubrication system, or minimum quantity cooling lubrication system, operates according to the Venturi principle. It delivers small amounts of lubricant directly to the working tool to reduce the generation of frictional heat during machining. A cooling effect is also created by the compressed air and, when using highly volatile lubricants such as alcohol, by the evaporative cooling.
The BPV-225 minimum quantity lubrication system allows the use of low-viscosity oils, alcohols, and water-oil emulsions.
The two control screws allow the supply to be optimally adjusted depending on the lubricant, material, and intended use. The use of minimum quantity lubrication can significantly increase tool life and significantly improve the quality of the machined surface.
