Sorotec Alu-Line 2507 Heavy Parts Set
Due to the large dimensions, the Alu-Line Heavy series uses profiles and ball screws with larger cross-sections. On the X-axis, the 90 x 90 profile is replaced with a 180 x 90 profile to minimize deflection. Similarly, the central 16 mm ball screw is replaced with a 25 mm ball screw to prevent oscillation at high speeds. This ensures that the travel speed does not need to be reduced.
On the X-axis, two linear guide rails are also mounted on each side of the 180 mm profile to achieve even greater stability of the gantry.
The Heavy variant is supplied with a single central ball screw on the X-axis; the Heavy Gantry comes with two external ball screws.
This parts kit includes all the components needed for mechanical assembly. The drag chains and stepper motors are not included.

The pictures show the fully assembled state.After completion, the sets of parts presented here represent what is referred to as "incomplete machines" in the Machinery Directive.
