The use of indexable inserts makes this cutter a sustainable once-in-a-lifetime purchase. Each plate can be used on all four sides before it is finally worn out. Simply loosen the retaining screw with the tool provided, rotate the plate 90° and tighten the screw again. The cutter then is sharp like new again.
