This tool length sensor works not like most, in the low price segment, offered sensors with a simple tracer. Instead it has a precise micro tracer inside, which is operated from above with a tappet. Thereby a high repetition accuracy is ensured.
The micro switch on the inside is mounted on a spring. If the Z-Axis does not stop in time or your ramps are too long, the switch does not get damaged. It can be pressed 4mm into the spring. The switch is configured as a normally closed switch, but can be reconfiguerd very easily to normaly open contact. Completely detachable over a central screw.
